Yes, it is that time of year again! Submit your movie to the Northwest's premiere festival for filmmakers. The weekend-long festival, which takes place in April, is an opportunity for community members and visitors from outside Whatcom County to see high-caliber, locally produced films. NWPFF also raises awareness of the area’s growing film industry.

You and your guests are invited to a screening of "The Cody Rivers Show" television pilot on Sunday, September 20, at the historic Lincoln Theater in Mt. Vernon where a large part of the pilot was filmed. No need to RSVP. A number of NWFS students worked on this project.
Please arrive by 4:00 pm. The pilot - 20 minutes long - will screen at 4:30 pm sharp. (We have to clear out for a paying show after us.)
The Lincoln Theater is at 712 South First Street, Mt. Vernon. From the I-5, go west on Kincaid Street. When you reach First Street, the theater is just around the corner to the right. For parking, continue straight up the hill on Kincaid and there's public parking.

A directory of local moviemakers has been requested many times, everyone knows we have needed one, it would be incredibly useful. Now we have one!
A few caveats. There has been no directory in the past because building a fully featured application is time consuming. We've built the bare bones - searching by proximity to your Zipcode, credit listings, movie listings and a messaging service. It all has been tested but the version we have live is in Beta at this address:

Please give it a test drive, we would love to hear your feedback. What we really would like to see is people adding their movies and credits to the listings. The directory is most useful if people list their talents. If you do not have a login with us already, drop me a note and I will get you one.
We welcome your feedback and we appreciate your patience with bugs. We are in the process of adding features and functionality. If you have suggestions, we would be happy to hear them. We actually take your feedback and incorporate it into our project plan (wow!!!).
We're proud of the directory thus far and we promise much more to come, we hope you find it useful. If you like it but would like to see more, be patient - we are expanding the feature set.
